Mike grew up in south Fargo, graduating from Fargo South High in 2004 and would eventually earn bachelors degrees in Economics and Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota. He currently works at Aldevron as production lead for their Moderna Covid program where he has been responsible for the production of billions of vaccine doses.
A lead organizer at Red River Climate Action, Mike helped trigger the formation of the City of Fargo’s Sustainability and Resiliency Committee. Additionally, Mike helped lead the Defend Lindenwood Park movement, which effected improvements for Lindenwood and Island parks.
